The first T20 game of the five match series v Bangladesh in Dhaka on Tuesday, marked Mitch’s 200th international match for Australia and his figures of 2-33 saw him capture his 500th international wicket – a remarkable feat for a fast bowler!
Mitch has now played 61 Tests and taken 255 wickets, played 99 ODI’s taking 195 wickets and last night was his 40th T20I where he has now taken 50 wickets, the most by any Australian bowler, proving he is one of the best ‘three format’ bowlers in world cricket.
Australia lost the first match to Bangladesh by 23 runs, but will get the chance to atone today in Dhaka game 2.
